Most Dive shops run  mixed boats catering to scuba divers, meaning the sites are often deeper (25-40ft), and snorkelers have to wait for divers to finish their bottom time. A Snorkel Only boat, such as the Siren and the Calypso, visits shallow reefs (5-15ft) perfect for surface viewing, and the tour is curated  entirely for snorkelers.
