These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of silentworld.com and purchases of snorkel tours, scuba trips, PADI courses, gift cards, and private charters offered by Silent World Scuba, LLC (“Silent World,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website or booking with us, you agree to these Terms.

Website use

Content on this site is for general information about our Key Largo operations. Tour sites, schedules, pricing, and availability can change due to weather, marine conditions, vessel capacity, and operational needs. We may update website content without notice.

You agree not to misuse the site (including attempting unauthorized access, scraping in a way that harms service, or submitting false information through forms).

Bookings and payments

Online reservations are processed through FareHarbor (or another booking provider we designate). Prices, inclusions, age requirements, and capacity limits shown at checkout apply to that booking. A reservation is confirmed when payment is successfully processed and you receive confirmation from the booking system.

Gift cards and courses may have additional product-specific terms presented at purchase.

Waivers and fitness

All guests must complete required liability waivers before boarding or participating. Minors require a parent or legal guardian signature. Snorkeling and diving involve inherent risks. Participants must be able to meet the swim and health requirements for their activity. We reserve the right to refuse participation when safety may be compromised.

Weather and captain's discretion

All trips are weather- and condition-dependent. Our USCG Master Captains make the final call on sailing and site selection. If we cancel a trip due to weather or conditions, you will typically receive a full refund or the option to reschedule, as stated in your booking confirmation and our FAQs.

Advertised reef or wreck sites may be substituted with alternate protected sites when conditions require it.

Customer cancellations and no-shows

Unless your confirmation states otherwise, cancellations made within 48 hours of departure generally forfeit the amount paid; you may reschedule up to 24 hours before departure when inventory allows; and no-shows are non-refundable. Always check your FareHarbor confirmation for the policy that applies to your ticket.

Intellectual property

Logos, photos, copy, and design on this website are owned by Silent World or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Silent World is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from website use or reliance on site content. Participation in water activities is subject to signed waivers and applicable maritime and recreational activity laws. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Florida or U.S. law.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes arising from these Terms or your booking shall be in the state or federal courts serving Monroe County, Florida, unless otherwise required by law.

Changes

We may revise these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use of the site or new bookings after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
