What You Learn

The Fun Part
The fun part about this course is experiencing something you had up until now only imagined. Your first breath underwater for the first time is something you’ll never forget! During the course, you’ll make at least five pool dives and four dives at local dive sites on the reefs of John Pennekamp State Park and National Marine Sanctuary under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.
The Scuba Gear
In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you use basic scuba gear , and standard accessories. Basic scuba diving equipment (BCD & regulator) is provided for use during the course. Students are required to provide mask, fins, and snorkel (available for rental if needed).
